Deepwater Horizon Behind-The-Scenes Video

Lionsgate has released a new behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming Deepwater Horizon showing off the making of the upcoming film and it also features interviews of cast and crew.

Inspired by the true story that occurred on an oil rig in the Gulf of Mexico on April 20, 2010, the story chronicles the courage of those who worked on the Deepwater Horizon and the extreme moments of bravery and survival in the face of what would become one of the biggest man-made disasters in world history.

Deepwater Horizon stars Mark Wahlberg, Kurt Russell, John Malkovich, Dylan O’Brien, Gina Rodriguez and Kate Hudson.

The screenplay is based upon the 2010 New York Times article Deepwater Horizon’s Final Hours by David Barstow, David Rohde and Stephanie Saul.

Deepwater Horizon hits theaters on September 30, 2016.
