Dexter: New Blood was released on Showtime this past Sunday, and after the first episode, we got a new trailer to show us what we can expect from the coming episodes this season. The limited follow-up series features Dexter star Michael C. Hall as Dexter Morgan, who has made a new life in upstate New York after leaving in the storm at the end of the series.
“Now living under the name Jim Lindsay in a nod to author Jeff Lindsay, Dexter is haunted by his adopted dead sister Debra (Jennifer Carpenter), a group of women who have gone missing, and more.” The trailer below shows Dexter struggling with telling his son Harrison (Jack Alcott) the truth about himself. Beside his fatherly troubles, Dexter is also contending with the local police of Iron Lake, New York investigating a missing-person case, which he naturally played a part in when he committed his first murder in years.\
