One thing is for sure I would love another Diehard Movie for sure, McClane is a very charismatic character for sure I have seen all die-hard movies on cable and on DVDs multiple times but you can never change the channel when it’s on that’s what you say gripping cinematography and even the Die Hard 5 wasn’t that bad given that Bruce is not up to his sprouts anymore but still hey that’s McClane we are talking about.
Total Film is reporting that there is not only going to be another movie in the Die Hard series, but they already have a writer in place. Here is what they had to say about it:
Die Hard 6 – which is being referred to as Die Hardest, is now in the writing stage, with Brit Ben Trebilcook penning a treatment.
There really isn’t much of a synopsis out for the next McClane adventure, but the report says that the story “begins in New York, before moving to Tokyo, which will be the main location.” Trebilcock came into contact with Larry D. Webster, a consulting producer on A Good Day To Die Hard while working on the video game-themed actioner Knockout.
Here is what Trebilcook would like to bring to the table:
Getting Larry’s support was great, but there are many hurdles to leap yet and two of those are called Bruce Willis and [producer] Alex Young. [There’s] the possibility producers might go back and find some other source material to base the next one on, like they did with the first and second. Mine though, I feel it could be the Rocky Balboa of the Die Hard franchise.
