Disney’s CHIP ‘N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS Movie Clip Highlights Monty and Dale

CHIP 'N DALE: RESCUE RANGERS

Disney+ has released a new clip from its upcoming Chip ‘N Dale: Rescue Rangers movie. The clip features the coming back of Monterey Jack, voiced by Eric Bana, who seemingly needs some help from his old friends.

Dale (Andy Samberg) recently got CGI surgery to help further his career, and he thinks the world is ready for a Chip ‘N Dale reboot, but Chip isn’t interested.

The movie takes place 30 years after the original series came to an end, and it “catches up with the former Disney Afternoon television stars in modern-day Los Angeles.” The two chipmunks find themselves coming back to save their friend.

In Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers, “Chip and Dale are living amongst cartoons and humans in modern-day Los Angeles, but their lives are quite different now. It has been decades since their successful television series was canceled, and Chip has succumbed to a life of suburban domesticity as an insurance salesman. Dale (voice of Sandberg), meanwhile, has had CGI surgery and works the nostalgia convention circuit, desperate to relive his glory days. When a former castmate mysteriously disappears, Chip and Dale must repair their broken friendship and take on their Rescue Rangers detective personas once again to save their friend’s life.”

The movie also stars KiKi Layne. Also joining the cast are Will ArnettFlula Borg, Dennis HaysbertKeegan-Michael Key, Tress MacNeilleTim RobinsonSeth Rogen, J.K. Simmons, Chris Parnell.

Chip ‘n Dale: Rescue Rangers premieres May 20, 2022, exclusively on Disney+.
