Warner Bros. has just released the final trailer for Denis Villeneuve‘s sci-fi insanely anticipated Dune, and it sets the stage for all-out war. The trailer gives up new footage and also tells us that this film is only the start. The filmmaker has made it clear that he has a sequel ready to go and that he is also preparing for a third movie as well.

This trailer is based on the big picture of the movie, and it specifically focuses on Paul realizing the danger his father and his family are in when they come to rule over the planet Arrakis.

The movie is a mythic and emotionally charged journey, and it tells the story of “Paul Atreides, a brilliant and gifted young man born into a great destiny beyond his understanding, who must go to the most dangerous planet in the universe to secure the future of his family and his people. As evil forces explode into battle over the planet’s exclusive supply of the most valuable resource in existence—a commodity capable of unlocking humanity’s potential—only those who can conquer their fear will survive.”

The movie cast includes Timothée Chalamet as Paul Atreides, Oscar Isaac as Duke Leto Atreides, Rebecca Ferguson as Lady Jessica, Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, Zendaya as Chani, Stellan Skarsgard as Baron Harkonnen, Javier Bardem as tribe leader Stilgar, Charlotte Rampling as Reverend Mother Mohiam, David Dastmcalchian as Piter De Vries, Chang Chen as Dr. Yueh, Sharon Duncan-Brewster as Liet-Kynes, and Dave Bautista as the Baron’s nephew Rabban.

Dune will be released in theaters and be released on HBO Max on October 21st.
