Dwayne Johnson Teases Black Adam Role for WB’s Shazam

Dwayne Johnson talking about his role of Black Adam in the film. Though Adam has been an arch-enemy of Shazam in the source material for a number of years, the character has taken on more of an “anti-hero” role in recent years which Johnson says will translate into his performance in the film.

The film tells the story of teenaged Billy Batson, who transforms into the superhero when he says the magic word “Shazam!”

Speaking on Twitter, Johnson had this to say about it:

Shazam release date is April 5, 2019.
