Eddie Murphy’s BEVERLY HILLS COP 4 Moves to Netflix

Beverly Hills Cop 4

Beverly Hills Cop 4 is at works over at Paramount Pictures for a few years, and now that it’s ultimately ready to go, they’ve left it and gave it to Netflix and now streaming giant will make a movie out of it.

Netflix recently released Eddie Murphy’s new comedy Dolemite Is My Name, and the movie was a good one so I think now Netflix wants to work some more with Mr. Murphy. Dolemite Is My Name was a fabulous movie based on the true story, and fans have been looking forward to seeing him back in his role as Axel Foley.

There are no details given about the story, but Foley, a street-smart Detroit cop, will find himself planted back to the streets of Beverly Hills.

Bob Bakish, CEO of Paramount’s parent company Viacom, is the one who endorsed the movie project was moving to Netflix and that they would be allowing the rights of the franchise to them. However, Paramount Pictures still plans on producing and releasing Murphy’s Coming 2 America.
