Focus Features has unveiled a teaser trailer for director Edgar Wright’s psychological horror-thriller movie, Last Night in Soho. It gives us our first look at footage of the movie and some of the main characters that the story spins around. The movie looks cool, and it seems like a brilliant movie to wait for, check out the trailer below:
The story is based in London and follows a young girl “who is passionate about fashion design, who mysteriously enters the 1960s where she encounters her idol, a dazzling wannabe singer. But 1960s London is not what it seems, and time seems to fall apart with shady consequences.”
The movie stars Anya Taylor-Joy (Split), Thomasin McKenzie (JoJo Rabbit), Matt Smith (The Crown), Synnøve Karlsen, Michael Ajao, Diana Rigg, Terence Stamp, and Rita Tushingham.
Wright wrote the script for the movie with Penny Dreadful scribe Krysty Wilson-Cairns. When talking about the movie, Wright described the movie as being in the vein of Donald Sutherland’s 1973 movie Don’t Look Now and Roman Polanski’s 1965 film Repulsion.
