Empire magazine’s new covers of the Suicide Squad are just amazing piece of color combinations and perfect to be a pin-up poster anywhere.
“When I got the role I started looking up Harley costumes online, with my mum sitting next to me,” Robbie tells Empire. “She was like, ‘My daughter is going to dress like a prostitute!’ There are a lot of angry mothers out there!”
Smith opened up about his role in the film, teasing the relationship between Deadshot, Harley Quinn, and The Joker. “Deadshot’s actually eyeballing [Harley] a little bit. There’s a pretty ragged romantic triangle there.”
Stars Joel Kinnaman (RoboCop, Easy Money) as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney (Divergent, The Water Diviner) as Captain Boomerang, Cara Delevingne (Anna Karenina, Pan) as Enchantress, Karen Fukuhara as Katana, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Killer Croc, Jay Hernandez as El DIablo, Adam Beach as Slipknot, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, and Jared Leto as The Joker. There’s also mystery roles for Ike Barinholtz, Scott Eastwood, Raymond Olubowale, Alex Meraz, Jim Parrack, and Common.
The Suicide Squad team has included countless DC villains among its ranks, including Deadshot, Captain Boomerang, Bane, Killer Frost, Poison Ivy, Count Vertigo, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn.
Suicide Squad is scheduled for release on August 5, 2016.
