Every Game And Game Studio Microsoft Now Owns

Microsoft

After buying out ZeniMax Media and getting the games like The Elder Scrolls and Starfield, Microsoft has revealed its plans to purchase Activision Blizzard for $68.7 billion. The buyout, which is set to complete in July 2023, will be one of the largest buyouts in gaming. Microsoft will own developers behind even more of the most famous games, including Call of Duty, World of Warcraft, Diablo, and Candy Crush.

With Microsoft swallowing so many studios and games, it’s hard to keep track of what the huge corporation owns. To make it slightly clearer, here’s a list of all of the studios that Microsoft Studios now owns.

Although this list is long, it’s not the ultimate reflection of Microsoft’s might. The company also has a bunch of other distribution deals with a combination of developers that are not listed here because it does not own them, like Ori and the Blind Forest developer Moon Studios.
