Lara Croft, arguably gaming’s most well known heroine, has gone through a number of changes in her 17-year history — from Tomb Raider on Sega Saturn to her “Reborn” itteration in the last Tomb Raider.
The grave-robbing badass has shouldered the burden of being a video game character, a sex symbol, a Playboy model, a movie star and a road in Derby. She’s been rebooted twice, changed development studios once and appeared on pretty much every console since the Saturn. (via)
