Fallout: London Looks Brilliant and it is the Best Looking Fallout In Years

Fallout London

Fallout: London is a “DLC-sized mod” for Bethesda’s Fallout 4. It takes place in London and releases the player into a previously unexplored part of the post-apocalypse.

The first official gameplay trailer is released now, and it shows an in-depth look at the mod. And surprisingly, it features the voices of not one but two Doctors – Sylvester McCoy and Colin Baker – as “mysterious scientists”.

The team behind Fallout: London said “As a divergence from previous official titles in the series, Fallout: London is not set in America. Visiting a totally new setting allows for us to explore totally new cultures which have not homogenized with their American counterparts.”

“It also allows us to explore pre-war European history, and the effects the Resource Wars had on the class structured society of pre-war Britain.”

The trailer revealed the opening of the mod, which is comparable to previous Fallout game openings. You start by selecting your character features before making your way out of the underground into the world above.

The last moments of the trailer are definitely the most exciting to me. Getting a peek of a post-apocalyptic London waiting to be explored is a very cool prospect.

And a lot of work has been put into the audio and visuals in the mod too. Real audio from the London underground has been used in the mod, and it creates a very cool feel. The voice acting is top-notch, as are the environments.

The mod vows a lot of new enemies, items, places to explore, and a new story. There’s no release date currently.
