FANTASTIC BEASTS: THE SECRETS OF DUMBLEDORE

Warner Bros. has unleashed a fantastic new featurette for Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore and it focuses on the magic of Hogwarts. A large part of the story apparently takes place at Hogwarts, which is cool! Fans have been wanting to see a comeback to Hogwarts in this Fantastic Beasts series and this next movie will give them that. It’s a place that will be fun to go back in this franchise.

The featurette shows some wonderful footage focusing in and around Hogwarts and it also features interviews with the cast and crew including Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander, Jude Law as Albus Dumbledore, Dan Fogler as Jacob Kowalski, and Callum Turner as Newt’s brother, Theseus Scamander.

Dumbledore calls on Magizoologist Newt Scamander and a group of courageous individuals to prevent Mads Mikkelsen’s Gellert Grindelwald from raising a legion of followers and to stop a coming wizarding world war. Their purpose is to take down the scariest wizard in over a century as Grindelwald is pulling the world apart with hatred.

Professor Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) knows the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Mads Mikkelsen) is moving to seize control of the wizarding world. Unable to stop him alone, he entrusts Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) to lead an intrepid team of wizards, witches and one brave Muggle baker on a dangerous mission, where they encounter old and new beasts and clash with Grindelwald’s growing legion of followers. But with the stakes so high, how long can Dumbledore remain on the sidelines?

The movie also stars Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, and Ezra Miller. J.K. Rowling’s frequent collaborator and Harry Potter franchise writer Steve Kloves co-wrote the script, and Harry Potter veteran David Yates returned to helm the new movie.

Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore will hit theaters on April 15th, 2022.
