Users of 4chan and Reddit boards have been able to view private pictures of celebrities and threats to publish them online were carried out yesterday, As rumoured earlier this week, allegedly hacked candid pictures of stars including Cara Delevigne, Lauren O’Neil and Alexandra Chando and more images of Jennifer Lawrence.
Previously targeted celebrities have included Scarlett Johansson, singer Rihanna, reality star Kim Kardashian, Kate Bosworth, Rachel Nichols, Meagan Good, and Gabrielle Union, among others.
The images are thought to have come from hacked Apple iCloud account, but the under fire technology company has consistently denied this and has stated it is working with US “law enforcement officials” to find the culprits.
