Featurette For THE BLACK PHONE Horror Movie Starring Ethan Hawke

Universal Pictures has released a new featurette for director Scott Derrickson’s horror film, The Black Phone. Ethan Hawke plays the sinister villain in the story, who’s known as The Grabber, he tells you the scary story about this evil monster. He also explains that this movie was the right time for him to go to the dark side. There is a lot of footage from the movie in the video below.

The movie is about the story of Finney Shaw, a shy but clever 13-year-old boy, who “is abducted by a sadistic killer and trapped in a soundproof basement where screaming is of little use. When a disconnected phone on the wall begins to ring, Finney discovers that he can hear the voices of the killer’s previous victims. And they are dead set on making sure that what happened to them doesn’t happen to Finney.”

Hawke is joined by Mason Thames in his first-ever movie role and Madeleine McGraw as Gwen in the movie, and it’s set to release in theaters on June 24th, 2022.
