The upcoming Finnish action movie Sisu has just released its official US trailer, ahead of its release in US theaters in April. The film features Jorma Tommila as ex-soldier Aatami, who discovers gold in the Lapland wilderness and attempts to take it back home, only to face off against Nazi soldiers led by a brutal SS officer. The film embodies the Finnish concept of “sisu,” which refers to stoic determination, tenacity, grit, and bravery. The movie received rave reviews, with the lead actor’s mostly dialogue-free performance earning him the title of an action cinema icon. Sisu has a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and is being hailed as a must-see on the big screen.
