Check out the first look at Sylvester Stallone as New York mafia capo Dwight “The General” Manfredi in the upcoming Paramount+ series Tulsa King.
The series comes from Taylor Sheridan and Terence Winter. This is Stallone’s first main lead in a television series, and it seems like this is going to be a tremendous project for him. The photo shows Stallone standing in the middle of a city street looking amazing in his suit and looking stoic.
The story follows the New York City Italian mobster, who is forced to go to the most unlikely of places—Tulsa, Oklahoma, after spending 25 years in prison after being unceremoniously exiled by his boss. The series is set in the present day, and the mobster is faced with the startling task of setting foot of his Italian mafia family in the modernized town of Tulsa. There, Sal encounters surprising and unsuspecting characters who follow him along his unconventional path to power.
Tulsa King is set to premiere in fall 2022.
