First Look Photos From Netflix’s ENOLA HOLMES 2 Featuring Millie Bobby Brown

ENOLA HOLMES 2

Netflix and Entertainment Weekly have released some first look photos from their anticipated sequel Enola Holmes 2, featuring returning star Millie Bobby Brown. The first film followed Enola, Sherlock Holmes’ teenage sister, as she sleuthed her way through Victorian England. Now, Enola and her deductive skills are back, this time facing a conspiracy that could prove to be her most dangerous case yet. “After successfully solving her first case, the young Enola is now following in the footsteps of her famous brother (Henry Cavill) as she attempts to open her own detective agency (and hopefully get out of Sherlock’s shadow).

“Enola’s newest adventure begins after a young girl working in a match factory hires her to locate her missing sister. Before long, Enola finds herself drawn into a high-stakes chase across London, journeying from the city’s seedy industrial underbelly to the glitzy galas of high society.”

Brown and Cavill are returning to the project along with Helena Bonham Carter as her free-spirited mother Eudoria Holmes, and Louis Partridge as Enola’s kind-hearted love interest Tewkesbury. David Thewlis is joining the cast as a shady cop, and Dune actress Sharon Duncan-Brewster also joins the sequel as a mysterious new character with ties to the case Enola is investigating.

Brown talked about the sequel, saying:

“We set the film in the hustle and bustle of London, which is something that we didn’t really get to see as much in the first one. We got to really see what this young girl is doing in this crazy city that surrounds her night and day, and we get to explore these places in great detail.”

Director Harry Bradbeer, who is returning after helming the first film, said:

“I wanted this story to be a grittier one. I wanted to introduce her to working-class girls in a working-class world. I wanted it to be a completely new world for Enola, so she was more out of her depth.”

Enola Holmes 2 is set to be released on Netflix on November 4th. Check out the photos below:
