First Official Look at Michael Rooker’s Yondu from GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY

First official look at Michael Rooker as the character Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy, This was a very quick glimpse of the character that was thrown in to the most recent extended trailer that was released.

In the comics, Yondu is one of the four founding members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. His right hand was replaced with a bionic device, and he was a game hunter in a primitive tribe of humanoid beings native to the first planet system to be colonized outside of the Sun’s solar system. Along with his superb athletic skills, he also has mental powers.
