First Trailer For Roland Emmerich’s WWII Action Film MIDWAY

Lionsgate has revealed the first trailer for director Roland Emmerich’s upcoming World War II action movie Midway. The movie “is an epic telling of the Battle of Midway, a turning point in the Pacific theater of World War II. The story follows the real soldiers and aviators who pulled off the unbelievable to turn the tide of the war in June 1942.”

The cast of Midway includes Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring) as Admiral Edwin Layton, Luke Evans (Beauty and the Beast) as Commander Wade McClusky, Woody Harrelson (Solo: A Star Wars Story) as Admiral Chester Nimitz, Mandy Moore (This Is Us) and Darren Criss (The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story), and co-stars Aaron Eckhart (The Dark Knight), Nick Jonas (Jumanji: Welcome To The Jungle), Dennis Quaid (The Day After Tomorrow), Keean Johnson (Alita: Battle Angel) and Tadanobu Asano (Thor).

Midway will hit theaters on November 8th.
