Warner Bros. has published the first trailer for their newest Scooby-Doo movie, Scoob!, and it puts the center on the origin story of Shaggy and Scooby-Doo and how they come together. This is an interesting premise for the movie.
The trailer will also offer a glimpse at the adventure that the group will find themselves starting on as Scooby and Shaggy are “taken.” Check out the trailer to know more.
Here’s the synopsis!
SCOOB! reveals how lifelong friends Scooby and Shaggy first met and how they joined with young detectives Fred, Velma and Daphne to form the famous Mystery Inc. Now, with hundreds of cases solved and adventures shared, Scooby and the gang face their biggest, most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this global “dogpocalypse,” the gang discovers that Scooby has a secret legacy and an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.
Frank Welker is the voice of Scooby-Doo, and he’ll be joined by Zac Efron as Fred, Amanda Seyfried as Daphne, Gina Rodriguez as Velma, and Will Forte as Shaggy. The film also stars Tracy Morgan as Captain Caveman and Kiersey Clemons as Dee Dee Skyes. Mark Wahlberg will play Blue Falcon, Jason Isaacs is voicing the villain Dick Dastardly, and Ken Jeong will play Blue Falcon’s sidekick, Dynomutt. Iain Armitage from Young Sheldon and Mckenna Grace from Captain Marvel, who will be playing as young versions of Shaggy and Daphne.
Scoob! is set to be released on May 15th, 2020.
