First Trailer For THE SHANNARA CHRONICLES

The Shannara Chronicles is based on a series of fantasy novels written by Terry Brooks. The story is set after the destruction of our civilization in what is called the “great wars.” The world was forced to revert back to a medieval state and magic.

The series stars Ivana Baquero as Eretria, Austin Butler as Wil Ohmsford, and Poppy Drayton as Amberle Elessedil, “three elves attempting to keep demons at bay after an enchanted tree begins to die.”

The first two episodes of The Shannara Chronicles will be directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans).Al Gough and Miles Millar (Smallville) are writing the 10-episode series and are also executive producers. Jon Favreau also serves as an executive producer.
