Sony Pictures has revealed the first trailer for their remake of the classic 1990 film Flatliners, It doesn’t look as good as the original. I am a huge fan of the original Joel Schumacher-directed film that starred Keifer Sutherland, Julia Roberts, William Baldwin, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon and in comparison, the new remake is not up to the level. maybe the movie will be better than the trailer but I’m not very excited about it.

The new Flatliners film stars Ellen Page (Inception), Diego Luna (Rogue One: A Star Wars Story), Nina Dobrev (The Vampire Diaries), James Norton (Happy Valley), and Kiersey Clemens (Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising).

In Flatliners, five medical students, hoping to gain insight into the mystery of what lies beyond the confines of life, embark on a daring and dangerous experiment. By stopping their hearts for short periods of time, each triggers a near-death experience. As the investigation becomes more and more perilous, they are forced to confront the sins of their pasts, as well as contend with the paranormal consequences of trespassing to the other side.
