Santa Claus is coming to town in the upcoming Universal Pictures movie Violent Night. David Harbour takes on the role of Santa Claus, and he’s ready to fight for a girl who still strongly believes in Santa when she and her family are taken hostage.

In the movie, “When a team of mercenaries breaks into a wealthy family compound on Christmas Eve, taking everyone inside hostage, the team isn’t prepared for a surprise combatant: Santa Claus is on the grounds, and he’s about to show why this Nick is no saint.”
The movie comes from the producers who brought us Nobody, John Wick, Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2, Bullet Train, and Hobbs & Shaw, and it’s described as a “coal-dark holiday action-comedy that says you should always bet on red.”
The movie also stars John Leguizamo (John Wick), Cam Gigandet (Without Remorse), Alex Hassell (Cowboy Bebop), Alexis Louder (The Tomorrow War), Edi Patterson (The Righteous Gemstones), and Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Vacation franchise).
Tommy Wirkola directed the movie (Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, Dead Snow), and it will hit theaters on December 2nd!
