Gal Gadot Will Star in a Remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s TO CATCH A THIEF

Gal Gadot

Alfred Hitchcock’s classic 1955 movie To Catch a Thief is getting a new remake, and Gal Gadot is set to star in and produce the thriller.

The original movie starred Cary Grant and Grace Kelly, and the story followed notorious cat burglar John Robie, who has long since retired to tend vineyards on the French Riviera. “When a series of robberies is committed in his style, John must clear his name. Armed with a list of people who own the most expensive jewels currently in the area, John begins following the first owner, young Francie. When her jewels are stolen, Francie suspects John, destroying their tentative romance. John goes on the lam to catch the thief and clear his own name.”

The script for the movie is being written by Eileen Jones. This looks like a project that Gadot would gravitate towards. I like her as an actress and no matter how the movie turns out, I’m sure she’ll at least be brilliant in it.

Gadot’s recently appeared in Netflix’s action crime movie Red Notice. She will next appear in the adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Death on the Nile, and she is playing the Evil Queen in Disney’s live-action remake of Snow White.
