Director Patty Jenkins released the first poster for Wonder Woman 1984, and it is vibrant and packed with all sorts of vibrant colors. It’s kind of a trippy poster and it also offers us our first look at a new outfit that Gal Gadot will be wearing in the new upcoming movie.
This is a super cool poster as it’s so different from the kinds of posters that we normally see for superhero and comic book movies. The poster came with the following note from Jenkins:
“By now you’ve heard: WB isn’t going to Hall H this year. We’re so sad to miss you there! And waiting until Dec. to start our official #WW84 campaign in full– But the truth is… we can just… barely… wait…”
It’s a shame that we won’t get to see anything new from this movie at Comic-Con this year, but I’m still thrilled for the movie and I am sure Jenkins is going to give us another excellent Wonder Woman movie.
We still don’t know much about the story, but we do know the film is set in 1984 and is said to follow Diana Prince as she reunites with Steve Trevor to fight a new evil force. The movie stars Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Kristen Wiig as the villain Cheetah, and Pedro Pascal possibly as a God in disguise.
Wonder Woman 1984 hit theaters on June 5th, 2020.
