Game of Thrones: The Complete Collection Details Unveiled!

Fans are still recovering from the huge series finale of the HBO fantasy behemoth hit Game of Thrones, HBO has just announced that those who are missing the series will get to visit the fantasy world again soon as The Complete Collection featuring all 8 seasons will hit stores in December!

The Complete Collection box set is bundled in a wooden shadow case, featuring multi-layered panel designed by Robert Ball that sum each facet of the Game of Thrones tale, with each season designed by a different layer showcasing iconic characters and memorable moments from the show, all of which are climbing towards the Iron Throne, and will also feature a “Hand of the King” pin clasp, which holds all nine custom plated disc sleeves.

The show is based on the best-selling novel series by George R.R. Martin, Game of Thrones holds the record as the most awarded series in television history, and it won a total of 132 Emmy nominations and 47 wins to date. The huge drama also stands as HBO’s most-viewed program ever, with the last season which is averaging a record-setting 44 million viewers in the U.S.

The whole cast includes Emmy and Golden Globe winner Peter Dinklage (Tyrion Lannister), Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister), Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen), Kit Harington (Jon Snow), Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister) and Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont).

HBO will also release Game of Thrones: Season 8 in a 4K Ultra HD and Blu-ray Steelbook, and the single season DVD/Blu-ray. And this is not it, Game of Thrones: The Complete Series will also be available on DVD/Blu-ray without the collectible packaging, with both sets packed with extra content and it is available to buy on December 3!
