Check out this cool international trailer that has been released for Ghostbusters: Afterlife it offers up a bit of new footage. The new footage comes at the very end of the trailer and shows the kids in the movie playing around with some of the Ghostbusters’ gear, like firing off a nuclear-powered proton pack!
In the movie, Egon Spangler’s family moves to a little town where they learn about their grandfather’s legacy and how they used to catch ghosts for a living! I loved the first trailer and movie look solid, and the concept of a couple of kids gradually discovering something awesome about their grandpa and the work that he did.
This next movie in the original Ghostbusters universe centers on “a single mom and her two kids come into a small town, they start to discover their connection to the original ghostbusters and the hidden legacy their grandfather left behind.”
The movie was directed by Jason Reitman from a script he wrote with Gil Kenan. The movie stars Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, McKenna Grace, and Paul Rudd. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Sigourney Weaver are returning to their roles.
Ghostbusters: Afterlife hit theaters on July 10, 2020.
