Gina Carano is Out From THE MANDALORIAN and STAR WARS

After the insensitive and offensive comments posted on social media, again! The fans started bashing The Mandalorian co-star Gina Carano, and it led to the hashtag #FireGinaCarano.

One of her posts likened political disagreements to the treatment of Jews in Nazi Germany and she said in the now-deleted post:

“Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to the point where Nazi soldiers could easily round up thousands of Jews, the government first made their own neighbors hate them simply for being Jews. How is that any different from hating someone for their political views.”

There were also comments she made insulting people wearing masks in California, others implying voter fraud, and another about Jeffery Epstein not killing himself.

It is quite easy to see why that would upset a lot of people and the huge backlash led to Disney and Lucasfilm booting Carano from The Mandalorian. In a statement Lucasfilm said:

“Gina Carano is not currently employed by Lucasfilm and there are no plans for her to be in the future. Nevertheless, her social media posts denigrating people based on their cultural and religious identities are abhorrent and unacceptable.”
