Great Behind-The-Scenes Video Of RENFIELD

RENFIELD

Universal Pictures’ upcoming horror-action comedy, Renfield, has been generating quite a bit of buzz lately, and it’s easy to see why. This highly anticipated film is a direct sequel to the 1931 classic, Dracula, and features Nicolas Cage in the iconic role of the titular vampire.

A new behind-the-scenes featurette has been released, which offers fans an exciting glimpse into the making of the film. The featurette includes interviews with the cast and crew, who discuss the movie’s themes and what audiences can expect from this unique horror-comedy hybrid.

In addition to Nicolas Cage, the film stars Nicholas Hoult as Dracula’s faithful servant, Renfield. Hoult is no stranger to action-packed films, having previously starred in Mad Max: Fury Road and the X-Men franchise. The movie was directed by Chris McKay, who helmed The Tomorrow War and The LEGO Batman Movie and features a screenplay by Ryan Ridley, known for his work on the Ghosted and Rick & Morty series.

One of the most exciting aspects of Renfield is that it takes place in the same universe as the original Dracula film. This means that fans can expect to see familiar characters and references to the classic horror movie. However, the film is not a straight-up horror movie. Instead, it blends horror elements with action and comedy, creating a unique and thrilling viewing experience.

Overall, Renfield looks like it will be a must-see film for horror and action-comedy fans alike. With an all-star cast and crew, a fresh take on the Dracula story, and plenty of thrills and laughs, it’s sure to be one of the most talked-about movies of the year.

Evil doesn’t span eternity without a little help.

In this modern monster tale of Dracula’s loyal servant, Nicholas Hoult (Mad Max: Fury Road, X-Men franchise) stars as Renfield, the tortured aide to history’s most narcissistic boss, Dracula (Oscar® winner Nicolas Cage). Renfield is forced to procure his master’s prey and do his every bidding, no matter how debased. But now, after centuries of servitude, Renfield is ready to see if there’s a life outside the shadow of The Prince of Darkness. If only he can figure out how to end his codependency.

The film co-stars Awkwafina (The Farewell, Shang-Chi and the Legend of Ten Rings), Ben Schwartz (Sonic, The Afterparty), and Adrian Martinez (The Secret Life of Walter Mitty, Focus).

Renfield will be released in theaters on April 14th, 2023.
