Vertical Entertainment has unleashed a trailer for a new indie horror movie titled A Savannah Haunting. The movie was directed by Mark McCullough, and it’s a haunted house story that’s based on a true story of dark supernatural events that occurred to him and his family.
The film was shot at the actual haunted house where these demonic events took place. This seems like a great touch.
A Savannah Haunting “is based on real supernatural experiences director William Mark McCullough and his family endured in their Savannah home for decades. This chronicles the sinister forces trapped beneath the house and the turmoil wreaked upon the newest homeowners, the Rancourt’s, pushing the boundaries of their own sanity and safety.”
In the story, the family moves to Savannah, GA to escape the remembrance of their young daughter’s death. Once they are settled in their new home, the mother begins to have supernatural experiences that lead her to believe she is being haunted by her deceased daughter. But there’s an old woman with links to the home’s slavery past who cautions there may be darker, more sinister forces living beneath the house.
A Savannah Haunting will be released in select theaters and on VOD starting October 28th, 2022.
