Game of Thrones will air less than a months time and HBO is looking to keep fans occupied by sending them on a hunt to find an Iron Throne.
HBO is hiding six life-sized Iron Thrones all across the world for the fans to look for and find. A 360-degree video was posted to HBO’s YouTube channel showing one of the Iron Thrones that has been placed in a forest. The caption reads “#ThroneoftheForest.”
The video also comes with a countdown timer, allowing fans to see how much time they have left to claim it. There’s also a video featuring a few of the actors from the series on its Facebook page telling fans that the hunt for the throne is one, and it comes along with the caption, “6 Thrones. 6 Locations. Who will be the first to find them?”
When the first Iron Throne has been successfully found, HBO will hide another one, and they will do that up to six times. If you are interested in getting in on this action, you can head over to forthethrone.com for more details. They don’t give you many details to go off of!
