HBO Max The Last of Us Release Schedule

The Last of Us

Joel and Ellie’s incredible and dark journey is developing on HBO Max, with the first four episodes of The Last of Us now available on the streaming service. Episode 4 came out last Sunday, and episode 5 was released this Friday, Feb. 10 rather than the usual Sunday.

The show adapts the PlayStation video game series from developer Naughty Dog, with the nine-episode season 1 concentrating on the initial entry in the franchise. The show is already renewed for a second season.

What is The Last of Us?

The series is set in a world where an unnervingly plausible fungal brain infection changes most of the world’s population into violent cannibals, the games follow grim smuggler Joel and his cheerful teen pal Ellie as they journey across a ruined US.
