HELLRAISER Featurette Reveals Jamie Clayton Transformation Into Pinhead

HELLRAISER

Director David Bruckner’s Hellraiser reboot is streaming on Hulu right now, and 20th Century Studios has revealed a behind-the-scenes featurette showing the transformation of Jamie Clayton into the Hell Priest a.k.a. Pinhead.

Clayton explains that “The makeup takes four hours to do, and about 45 minutes to an hour to remove.” It looks like quite a wild experience!

“A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that its purpose is to summon the Cenobites, a group of sadistic supernatural beings from another dimension.”

The project is said to be a “loyal, yet evolved re-imagining of Clive Barker’s 1987 horror classic,” and Clive Barker jumped on board as a producer to help make that happen.

The cast includes Odessa A’zion (Fam, Grand Army), Adam Faison (Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, Yes Day), Drew Starkey (Outer Banks, The Devil All the Time), Brandon Flynn (Ratched, 13 Reasons Why), Aoife Hinds (The Long Call, Normal People), Jason Liles (Stereoscope, Rampage)Yinka Olorunnife (The Transporter), Selina Lo (Boss Level, Q8 Unleashed), Zachary Hing (Halo), Kit Clarke (Leonardo), with Goran Visnjic (The Boys, Timeless) and Hiam Abbass (Succession, Blade Runner 2049).
