Here’s How You Listen To Music And Charge Your iPhone 7 At The Same Time

iphone 7 dock

Apple dropped the 3.5mm headphone jack from its new iPhone 7, It is not all bad news it generates some real changes to the way you might charge and play music from an iPhone. Apple didn’t answer a key scenario for those who want to play music through headphones and charge the iPhone at the same time.

Bluetooth headphones are the best option for this scenario, but if you’re using the EarPods in the box or any other wired headphones with the adapter then you won’t be able to charge at the same time. Apple doesn’t appear to have additional adapters ready for this, and the only option available is the existing $49 lightning dock.

Apple is pushing ahead towards a wireless future and this is one of the many casualties along the way. What you think about the EarPods and Apple dropping the 3.5mm headphone jack?
