Steve Carrell joined back with the creator of The Office, Greg Daniels, to produce a comedy series that is inspired by President Trump’s Space Force military branch. The series is being produced by Netflix, and now they released the first trailer for Space Force.
Space Force is a workplace comedy that focuses on a group of people who must form a sixth branch of the military. Trump called the organization saying, “Spacecom will defend America’s vital interests in space, the next warfighting domain, and I think that’s pretty obvious to everybody. It’s all about space.”
This originally seemed like a fun concept for a series and it looks like the artistic team actually pulled it off and made a hilarious comedy. I enjoyed what they show in this first trailer! It looks like it’ll be a hilarious show and I’m looking forward to checking it out.
Steve Carrell takes on the role of General Mark R. Naird, and John Malkovich stars as Dr. Adrian Mallory. The show also stars Lisa Kudrow, Diana Silvers as Erin Naird, Ben Schwartz as F. Tony Scarapiducci, Jimmy O. Yang as Dr. Chan Kaifang, Tawny Newsome as Angela Ali, and Alex Sparrow as Bobby Telatovich.
Space Force will premiere on May 29th.
