One of my most awaited show in 2019 is a new UFO investigation drama series Project Blue Book. This show looks simply brilliant! I particularly like that it feels like a retro 1950s version of hit TV series The X-Files. Here today we have four new trailers for the series that offer some more new footage and teases some of the stories that it will feature in the show.
If you have watched all the UFO documentaries and series on the History Channel then you know all about what Project Book Book is. If not:
Project Blue Book chronicles the top-secret true U.S. Air Force-sponsored investigations into UFO-related phenomena in the 1950s and ’60s, known as Project Blue Book.
The series stars Game of Thrones alum Aidan Gillen, who plays Dr. J. Allen Hynek, “a brilliant college professor recruited by the Air Force to spearhead this clandestine operation that researched thousands of cases, many of which never were solved.”
While speaking with IGN, Aidan Gillen talked about the character he plays in the series saying:
“For somebody who joined the US Air Force as a scientific advisor, to ultimately become the person who sets up the Center for UFO Studies, and a leading figure in that world, and still retain his credibility as a scientist… He wasn’t a quack who was convinced human beings were visited daily by little green men, you know? That’s really interesting.”
Each episode will be based on the real case files from Project Blue Book and will blend UFO theories with real historical events from one of the most enigmatic eras in American history.
Project Blue Book is set to air on Tuesday, January 8th, 2019.
