Today we are celebrating Doctor Who Day and the BBC has released the first trailer for Doctor Who Season 12 to mark the occasion! The trailer features Jodie Whittaker back in action as the 13th Doctor and as you’ll see, something is coming for her.
Bradley Walsh, Tosin Cole and Mandip Gill are all coming back to the series as friends Graham O’Brien, Ryan Sinclair, and Yasmin Khan. The new trailer also approved the return of The Cybermen, one of the oldest and most dangerous foes. You will also see one of the cybernetic humanoids in the trailer acting alone.
Doctor Who finished production on Season 12 last week. and Chris Chibnall showrunner of the show said in a statement:
“We’re off again! Well we never actually stopped – as Jodie Whittaker’s Doctor and friends have been winning the hearts of families across the nation this autumn, we’ve been busy with a whole new set of action packed adventures for the Thirteenth Doctor. We adore making this show and have been blown away by the response from audiences, so we can’t wait to bring more scares, more monsters and more Bradley Walsh, Mandip Gill and Tosin Cole to BBC One. Brilliant!”
