History of the World Part II

Hulu has released the hilarious trailer for History of the World Part II, the new sequel series to Mel Brooks’ famous 1981 movie. The four-night event will start on March 6, with the first two episodes.

The video revealed its incredible all-star-studded cast who will join co-writers Wanda Sykes, Ike Barinholtz, and Nick Kroll on the highly-anticipated sketch comedy. It gives us a preview of the different historical figures that will be featured in the series including Harriet Tubman, William Shakespeare, Sigmund Freud, Jesus Christ, Noah, Abraham Lincoln, and more.

“After waiting over 40 years there is finally a sequel to the seminal Mel Brooks film, History of the World, Part I, with each episode featuring a variety of sketches that take us through different periods of human history.”

The cast includes Jack Black, Danny DeVito, Fred Armisen, Jake Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Kumail Nanjiani, Seth Rogen, Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Sarah Silverman, Josh Gad, Taika Waitiiti, Hannah Einbinder, Sam Richardson, Jason Mantzoukas, Jillian Bell, Margaret Cho, Andy Cohen, Wendi McLendon-Covey, and more.
