Nearly 70 years of production, the Beetle is being retired from Volkswagen’s production line and it seems only right to salute this icon with a heartwarming animation about one such car. This special Beetle had seen a young boy growing up to have a family of his own. After serving the family for so many years, this lonesome Beetle drove one last mile in order to say goodbye. People applauding lineup the streets and they are there to cheer the Beetle on. With them, the well-wishers are such stars as Kevin Bacon, Andy Warhol, and Andy Cohen.
The end of the decade marks the end of an era. …After 70 years, the Volkswagen Beetle is retiring. Say g(o\!/o)dbye with Ren McCormack, Kevin Bacon, Andy Warhol, and Andy Cohen as the little bug drives its last mile.
I use to own one about 20 years ago, and it was a good car and we had some amazing memories with it, and watching this video makes me recall my old British Green beetle and makes me sad and miss her some how. Watch the video below.
