Intel Extreme Masters (IEM) Katowice 2021, we already check out the Gambit Esports make a dramatic run to win the title. And now this week on June 11th, CS:GO esports fans are in for a real treat which will be awesome and full of action, as the 16th season is about to get started. IEM Summer 2021 is in full swing and teams are ready to rumble, In the tournament, 16 teams from over the world will fight for their share of the $250,000 prize money and fans will get entertained.

Virtus Pro will play as the main favorite against Team Vitality as we can see, according to SportsBettingDime.com they even have better odds to win the whole tournament.

IEM Summer 2021 viewer’s guide

It is started on 3rd June 2021, we also saw the opening group stage matches of IEM Summer 2021 take place. Teams are battling it out for their share of the $250,000 prize pool at IEM Summer 2021, and a lot of Pro Tour Points are also up for grabs.

Here is the Prize pool distribution:
  • 1st place – $100,000
  • 2nd place – $42,000
  • 3rd & 4th place – $20,000
  • 5th & 6th place – $10,000
  • 7th & 8th place – $6,000
  • 9th to 12th place – $5,000
  • 13th to 16th place – $4,000

The game starts with a Group Stage starring two groups of 8 teams each, following a GSL-Style format. The first games in the group stage are best-of-one, with all resulting matches being best-of-three. The top three teams of the tournament from each group move forward to the IEM Summer 2021 playoffs. The victors will go to the semi-finals, while the runners up move forward as the High Seeds of the quarter-finals, and the 3rd-place teams from every group will move to quarter-finals as the Low Seeds.

The Group Stage of IEM Summer 2021 is programmed to start from 3rd to 6th June, and the Playoffs will start on 11th June and end on 13th June with the glorious final.

Every day, the CS:GO esports action is programmed to start off at about 12:00 SAST (Midday) as this is a European tournament.
