20th Century Fox released an awesome viral video for Independence Day: Resurgence featuring a special news report on “The War of 1996,” as originally seen in the first film.

Independence Day: Resurgence also stars Liam Hemsworth, Bill Pullman, Judd Hirsch, Vivica A. Fox, Brent Spiner, Charlotte Gainsbourg, JMaika Monroe and Sela Ward, with featuring appearances by Jeff Goldblum’s David Levinson and Jessie Usher’s Dylan Hiller.
