It’s Confirmed HALO: INFINITE Is HALO 6

HALO: INFINITE

Microsoft has been settled for years that they wanted to release the numbered label in Halo games. However, a number fans were still confused when the publisher revealed Halo: Infinite at E3 and not Halo 6. Fans were not sure whether this game is a prequel, a spin-off or a completely new game in the main series. Now to clear the slate, Jeff Easterling from 343 Industries has spoken to make it clear that Halo: Infinite = Halo 6.

“It is Halo 6, Easterling cleared up in a Mixer broadcast (via Gamespot). “You should just consider it Halo 6. Don’t think of it as a weird prequel kind of thing. It’s the next story. It’s the next chapter in what is going on.”

This is not the first time the developers of Halo tried to clear up the uncertainty as studio head Chris Lee already stated that Halo: Infinite will proceed the events of 2015’s Halo 5: Guardians. Moreover, 343 also reported that although Halo 5 spun around on both Master Chief and Agent Locke, Infinite will primarily focus on Master Chief.

Halo: Infinite still don’t have a release date at the moment but it will be released on Windows PC and Xbox One.
