J.K. Simmons to Join TERMINATOR: GENESIS

According to THR, Simmons will play “a weary and alcoholic detective who has followed a bizarre case involving Sarah Connor and robots for more than three decades (since 1984, which, not coincidentally, is the year the original movie, directed by James Cameron, was released).”

Spider-Man star J.K. Simmons is in negotiations to join director Alan Taylor‘s Terminator: Genesis.

Simmons will join Emilia Clarke as Sarah Connor, Jason Clarke as John Connor, and Jai Courtney as Kyle Reese. Arnold Schwarzenegger will of course be back to reprise his role as the Terminator.
