Daniel Craig’s interpretation of James Bond came to an end with the amazing movie No Time To Die, and fans have been thinking about who will be brought in next to take on the role of 007. Well, we don’t have the answer to that right now, But…
James Bond franchise producer Barbara Broccoli has presented an update on what is now going on with the next 007 movies, and in that update, she discloses that nobody is currently in the running to take on the role, they are reinventing the character, there’s no script, and they’re two years away from production.
Broccoli told Deadline: “Nobody’s in the running. We’re working out where to go with him, we’re talking that through. There isn’t a script and we can’t come up with one until we decide how we’re going to approach the next film because, really, it’s a reinvention of Bond. We’re reinventing who he is and that takes time. I’d say that filming is at least two years away.”
Craig was one amazing Bond and I’m curious to see what this newly reinvented version of the character will be like. It’ll also be fascinating to see who they ultimately end up casting in the role of the iconic Bond.
