Jaws LEGO Set Officially Announced, Includes the Orca

Jaws LEGO Set

LEGO fans are eagerly anticipating the release of a Jaws LEGO set, which has been announced by the LEGO Ideas team. LEGO Ideas is a platform where fans can submit their own LEGO concepts, and if they gain enough popularity, they have the chance to be transformed into official LEGO sets.

In the recent review round video released by the LEGO Ideas team, it was revealed that out of the 36 creations reviewed, only two would be selected to become official sets, and the Jaws set is one of them. While the final design of the set has not been finalized yet, prototype photos showcased some exciting elements that will be included.

Of course, a Jaws LEGO set would not be complete without a menacing shark. The shark in the set is expected to be built to scale with the LEGO Orca, the iconic fishing boat featured in the film. Additionally, three mini-figures will be included in the set: Chief Martin Brody portrayed by Roy Scheider, Matt Hooper played by Richard Dreyfuss, and Quint portrayed by Robert Shaw.

As of now, specific details regarding the release date and pricing of the Jaws LEGO set have not been disclosed. LEGO still needs to finalize the design, so some elements of the set may undergo changes. However, it is highly likely that the key components, such as the Orca boat and the shark, will remain intact.

Jaws was originally released in 1975 and is based on the 1974 novel by Peter Benchley. Directed by Steven Spielberg, the film is considered the original summer blockbuster and has left a significant impact on popular culture. The upcoming LEGO set is expected to pay homage to this iconic movie and provide LEGO enthusiasts with an exciting opportunity to recreate thrilling scenes from Jaws using their favorite building blocks.
