In a recent interview with Comic Book, co-directors Joe and Anthony Russo have told the official runtime for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Endgame and it will be three hours and fifty-eight seconds. The film beats out Infinity War‘s two hours and forty minutes, making it the longest film in the whole Marvel Cinematic Universe, I hope they give an intermission in the middle as I have a small bladder and I like to refill my popcorn.
Last year’s Avengers: Infinity War saw the Avengers take the battle to Thanos in order to stop his effort at exterminating half of the universe’s inhabitants with the mighty and deadly Infinity Stones. But it was to no avail, as he was able to triumphantly got all the stones and snap his fingers, wiping out half of all life from existence in a cloud of ash.
The sad course of events set in motion by Thanos that killed out half the universe and shattered the Avengers ranks forces the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in this grand conclusion to twenty-two movies, “Avengers: Endgame.”
Cast includes for the fourth Avengers movie so far include Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Sean Gunn, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Katherine Langford, and Josh Brolin.
Avengers: Endgame will hit theaters on April 26.
