Jon Stewart Is Doing A News Series for Apple TV+
Jon Stewart, former host, executive producer, and the writer of The Daily Show, is going to host a new current affairs series for Apple TV+. The not yet named series will run for many seasons, and puts “Stewart back in the anchor’s chair as he explores a host of topics at the center of both the national conversation and his own advocacy work.”
Stewart will executive produce the show. The deal also says that Stewart and his Busboy Productions will have a first-look deal for other projects to be developed and produced for Apple.
THR also reports that HBO is expecting to get Stewart for his next TV project, but the deal was made at Apple. The series will come on Apple TV+ next year. Are you excited about the news?
