We do not know much about what is going on with director J. A. Bayona’s Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom. But the most exciting thing is Jeff Goldblum is returning in the movie as Ian Malcolm. The tagline for the film is even one of his lines from the original movie, “Life Finds a Way.”

Today we have got some really exciting pictures from the set. They come from the Instagram account jurassic_world2018 and they feature some exciting stuff that I think fans will like.
The movie also Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing. We’ll also see the return of BD Wong‘s Dr. Henry Wu. Then there’s James Cromwell who plays Benjamin Lockwood in the film. He happens to be John Hammond’s old partner that developed the technology of cloning the dino genes. Justice Smith and Toby Jones have also joined the film.
Colin Trevorrow has described the sequel as being a “deeper, more character-based” film and that “it definitely leans into suspense.” When talking about the themes of the film he told Collider:
“It’s definitely about our greed and the depths of depravity that humans will sink in order to satisfy their need for profit. We’re certainly continuing with a lot of those themes but in different ways. But without spoiling anything there’s definitely new themes that have never been examined in a Jurassic movie before that we’ve gotten into that I really think will expand people’s idea of what these movies can be, that it’s not just people running away from dinosaurs on an island.”
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is set to be released on June 22, 2018.
