We all remember and loved Grand Theft Auto III this was the game which started it all free world and does as you like games. I also remember and somewhat loved removing leg and arm off in the game with my sniper scope. Somehow that feature got lost in future games, and the reason behind it may be linked to design. The folks at Classic Game Junkie explore the mechanic and explain why it was easier to abandon the feature in future releases and no, it was not because of the public outcry about gore in the video games.
